I'm using Google's blogger currently and I have one site that I would like to open up to subscribers. Anybody know how I can do that? Any info would be appreciated. MO
you mena subscribers to your data feed? you might want to mention it prominently at the top of your page and then just do regular publicity for your blog (trading links, adding to directories, forums on the topic etc...) you could also use an external email subscriber system like aweber.com
If you are asking about email and RSS subscribers then I suggest http://feedburner.com. I have used it on Blogger with great success and it keeps track of lots of statistics if you want something more than the subscription service.
Feedburner is great, also they offer the creatives in PNG, PSD form so that you can customize it for your site. The easier for a visitor to sign up the more you'll get.
I agree with trafficnotice. Go to FeedBurner and create an RSS feed for your site. Then just add the RSS icon with a link to your feed (e.g. feeds.feedburner.com/feedname), and your readers are all set to subscribe.
