Im a webmaster / designer and have spend most of my time building and coding, and know a whole lot of nothing when it comes to affiliate marketing. How should I go about getting started? If I find products to promote on CJ or CB, should they be promoted on sites specificlly for that product (landing page?), or do you just simply advertise that link on other sites which arent yours? i would suggest http://www.bummarketingmethod.com as a free step to learn how to do basic marketing, it is designed to teach you how to do bum marketing (aka free methods) but the tips he gives you can be well applied to your own websites, instead of writing articles for places like ezinearticles n such, yes, he does try to talk you into buying some stuff, but even without doing that he gives some helpful advise to get a start. in short: great information for beginners (this is what i learned from, im still very novice, but i have seen 400 bucks so far, so it is helpful for newbies) but keep looking around for advanced tactics, this is just a beginners crash course sorta thing.
