How do I get rid of the underline link in my main content?

I want to link to specific but I don't want the underline to show up. I've tried everything that I know how to do

Are you talking about the anchors in #content a:hover,#subcontent a:hover{text-decoration:underline;}? I see no underline except for :hover.
