Hello, I have a landing page that is converting extremely well with PPC and would like to know how to get it ranked by Google for the keywords I have selected. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks
get back links from related pages. Dont get 100 backlinks all of a sudden.. only get a few a day. Only get back links from trusted and related pages use your keywords in the anchor text use the keywords on your page in H1 tags.. also in meta tags, page description and title.. having a couple of outgoing links to related pages also helps.. use your keywords in this anchor text also.. and only link to trusted sites.. wikipedia pages are good.
look in to seo threads you will get your answer try getting backlinks some social bookmarks and blog comments these are the simple tricks will get you indexed and list in google top results better are those website which get crawled daily this increases you chances to get crawled faster like d signature links
You're going to have to create a few more pages if you want to rank well. A one page website is not going to make it very far up the SERPS.
Add 5 or 6 articles to the site along with an about age. You can bury the navigation to these pages on your footer so that no one will leave the sales page. Add contextual links back to your sales page in all of the articles. After you have content then you can start building links.
If you are talking about a one page site with affiliate links chances are you wont rank to high. You need to add more pages with content. Google recently started to drop comparison sites from their index. They figured that these people were not there to help out the searcher rather they were there to make their own pockets fat. Google is very into the user experience, you will have to provide alot of useful information besides for your comparison in order to rank high in SERP's. I hope this helps
Google is very much into their pocket not user experience. It's just their business. How much does goggle earn is visitor clicks on organic link? - Zero - and they get to pay for the CPU cycles on the server. Google only gets paid when people click on the sponsored listings. That's why they plain hate affiliate websites that rank in the organic results. Because Google sends then traffic for free and affiliates keep the money. As to the question on ranking your landing page in the organic results - do a good research into SEO first. It's just as complex as affiliate marketing if not more so. Knowing where, when and how to place links, what words to use on your page and what to avoid makes all the difference. There are many forums dedicated to these matters. You can have 1000s of links and PR6 and get outranked by PR0 page with only a few backlinks.
I disagree with this. There are plenty of comparison sites that rank very well, they provide a useful service if done well. I run a few and they rank higher than ever. You will need more than just a landing page to rank highly though, the best way would be to install a blog on the site and post daily on it. Google does take into consideration a freshness factor of your site. If you don't update your site, your rankings will slip. A blog that is updated on a daily basis will also encourage the googlebot to index your site on a regular basis. BTW I don't do clickbank marketing at the moment, but am thinking about doing some on an old domain of mine, to see how profitable it is, I would get traffic soley from organic listings as that is where my skill lies. It would be interesting to do a comparison between conversion rates from CPC and organic. I read somewhere last week that CPC conversions are higher.
You are entitled to your opinion But lately sites like NexTag, Shopzilla, PriceGrabber and other big comparison sites are ranking poorly. These sites are big sites and credible and still not ranking well. View this link http://www.seobook.com/bizrate-com-google-break If you want to rank for your landing page offer good information besides for just a sales pitch. Write reviews in the form of blog posts that should be better.
Well for me if I do something google drops my site far below and If I stop doing everything they start climbing it back up to the top. So I have stopped working on that site and started a new venture
