Yes !! Patience is the key for Success !!
This happens with every new domain .. keep on doing the good work :) Keep on building backlinks .. 4-5 links a day (Trust is Important then Building Anchor Text) !! Once you will complete 6Months you will start noticing some stable ranks !!

    1) keep adding Content.
    2) Build 5 backlinks from blog commenting to each page of content you added. /use the title of the page for your name in the blog comment.

3)Build backlinks from forums to your sites main page.

I don't believe in the sandbox to be honest ...

Seen many new websites rank highly for competitive keywords immediately and stayed first page. It's just a matter of gaining quality inbound links and there is no time limit associated with it.

You will rank low, as long as it takes you to get good links, goodluck :p

    Hello joecool6101,

How do you come to know that you site is sandboxed??
But if it is really then you have to wait till Google wants it to come back again. Till then keep on link building for your website. It will help you once you are back to SERP.

    Dear joecool6101

Was it your old site or a new site.

If your web site has good rankings on Yahoo, MSN and other search engines but not on Google, it's likely that your web site has been put into Google's sandbox.

The usual process is that Google indexes the new web site, lists it for some less important queries and then the web pages drop from the search engine result pages for several months. Although other search engines work fine, Google doesn't list the web site, sometimes not even for the company name.

If you have a brand-new web site, don't worry about this behavior. You are not doing anything wrong. Google seems to delay the inclusion of new web sites.

If you have a new web site, expect that your web site will be listed within 6-8 months in Google. Add content to your web site, get good incoming links and make sure that your web pages are optimized for Google.

    Regards

    Tehmina

    Can you elaborate on that?

I dont really do a whole lot of anything to this site as far as SEO goes.. most of it is already SEO'd when i started it.

Well, my site was basically my site was 1-3 for every keyword pertaining to my site. Then last week suddenly i couldnt be found on even the 10th page with the keywords that i was normally well ranked in. Its the last site in my sig.

Basically everything above should help with that.. I just dont know how to do proper link building.. thats one of the big issues for me.
Its not a new website thats the thing.. i know i do hear all the time of this wait for new sites but mine is 9 months old now and i dont think it should be going through all of this. I havent really checked to much but i think i rank well in MSN and on the first page for most keywords on yahoo (last time i checked). I have added some more content and linked all my good PR sites to it hoping it would boost it up a bit.

    I think that answers everything?

Thank you very much for your help

Do you sincere seo efforts.. try gaining traffic from other sources (forums, social bookmarking, paid ads if you can go for that, etc.) if you feel you are loosing your google traffic.. by time it will be back.. Doing something big (some big changes or experiment) can be harmful for you.. just wait and watch..
