How do I get my campaign to begin? :S

I've fiddled with Adwords for quite some time now, and I'm still confused. I started a campaign yesterday with some very general keywords. I even targeted specific websites with high PPC bids. However, it's been over 24 hours, and it's still showing that I have 0 impressions and 0 clicks on all my campaigns. Am I doing something wrong?

    Any insight is appreciated :).

    Thank you,
    Donny

I think placement targeting is very buggy in that regard. It is hard to trigger the ads sometimes and no one knows why, even contacting Google. Some sites won't trigger the ads no matter how much you put into your max CPM or max CPC. Webmasters are able to contact google and ask for placement targetting to be disabled from their websites, but I don't know if that's the reason for all websites not displaying placement targetting. If you believe you are in a competitive field, you should put a very high CPM or CPC at the beginning in an attempt to trigger the ads. I'm talking about as high as $20.00 CPM or 5 dollars CPC. Watch very carefully as to make sure you don't drain your budget. When you see some impressions, you can begin to start lowering your Max close to the average CPC/CPM % that gets displayed afterwards.

Now if you are using PPC on search, you might want to check on your landing page if it has a good quality score and the page does not have an automatic redirect and make sure you're not using an affiliate link for your destination url. Google is super picky about the ads and landing pages displaying on their search results.

And if you just opened an adwords account, you might want to wait about a couple of days to a week before seeing any results, especially with placement targeting. From what I understand, Google has like a little sandbox thing going for new adword users.

If the campaign is new, leave some time for Google to review and analyze it.

    Thank you. Rep added.

Although my campaign is new, my account isn't. I've ran campaigns in the past that have actually started. It's been 48 hours now, and nothing is happening. Surely it doesn't take this long to start a single campaign with google :S.

If it takes too long try contacting Google representative via Live Chat. Quick & easy.

Still haven't started :S. This is starting to get embarrassing. Maybe it's because of the weekend? :S

Don't start anything on the weekend and expect it to show.

On Monday they'll go through their queue.
