How do I get more weight?

    How do I get more weight and what not? I have 5 static links on the footer of all my pages, roughly 60 - 70k uniques a day, probably about 100 - 300 pages on my website.

    How long does it take for the weight to update? Thanks! I am a newbie to this! :):p

    Your traffic is not the issue. THat's not a criteria in the weight calculation forumula.

    The formula depends on your PR, and the number of pages indexed in Google. :)

    How much weight is given to PR4 site with no page in google ?

    The formula sort of works like this:

    [pr] times [api pages indexed in google] times [number of ads shown]

    There are probably other factors and only Shawn knows what the weighting is for each factor.

    I did not mean a simple PR * Index Pages * etc... Probably [ PR * unknown weighting factor] * [index pages * unknown weighting factor] * etc.

    I have test this and what is missing is the weighting factor. From experience, I know that the three main factors are PR, api index pages and the number of ads show. With most of the weight towards indexed pages and PR.
