I wanted your suggestions on getting affiliates. There are so many offers out there so I know mine has to atleast be competitive. I believe it is. What I am wondering is where do i go or how do I get more affiliates. I am doing adword and yahoo. Getting decent results but I need more. I've noticed that i have a lot of affiliates but only a few are promoting. I have a couple of what may be called super affiliates but I need more.

    Sorry for yapping too much

Hey happypappi ... when you work with too much affiliates, you can't control them ... you need to focus just on one thing ... i've say that promoting more than 5 affiliates per site is maximum

    just my opinion :D

Why not use your signature here at DP? I imagine that'd bring in quite a haul. :)

Whenever you run your own affiliate program you'll always have to be mindful of this ratio "90/10". This basically says that only 10% (it's sometimes lower than that) will actively promote your products and services.

You really want to focus on getting JV partners to promote your products and services. You will want to offer them a better deal than your affiliates but it is well worth it.

What are JV partners? I had noticed that my top affiliates on my other site atarted producing higher leads when I started offering them exclusive bonuses.

JV Partners are "Joint Venture Partners" - basically "Super Affiliates" with established lists and marketing success.

I concur with Shane, except that I've found the percentage to be much lower then 10%.

Actually you'd do well to focus on your affiliates who are doing well and continue to motivate them with great incentives, perks, bonuses, and public recognition. No sense wasting your time with the "tire kickers".
