I'm running btfheroes.com its about 2 months old now I managed to get a PR2 and get around 60-100 unv a day sometimes 300-400 but I really need more traffic. I have done some basic seo, added to social bookmark sites uploaded some youtube video's and post on forum and "spam" the link here and there. Is there anything I did not do which is free, spending some time is not a problem.
Try writing articles and submitting them to sites like Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, Articledashboard.com. It's time-consuming, but won't cost you anything and will get you backlinks and traffic.
