How do I get maximum from Twitter

Hello,

I have heard a lot on Twitter.com, great site to update friends and family on minute by minute happening.But Is this possible to use it for getting traffic on my website.How? Do people really care what I post on Twitter?

 

They might do; it depends on what you tweet about, how you do it, who you follow and who follows you. If it's on topic and interesting you can certainly get traffic.

 

If i want traffic on my site, meaningful traffic but them my site might be interesting to everyone.
Then how do i make people come to my site?
Is this like i have to first pamper the people to follow me and then i supply somethign on my site.

If you build up a following of people in your field then RT and communicate with them. Build up a rapport and generate interest for your work and your site. If it's good it'll all come together

 

Yeah twitter might become helpful, but you need to make friends. The more people follow you the more traffic you will bring to your website.
