    Write lot of articles related to your product with your site address mentioned. Get lot of backlinks from related sites. Submit your site to as many search engines as possible(google,yahoo,bing are must). Advertise in facebook if you dont want to spend more money in adwords.

    Just Focus on Basic nothing extra required, both on page and off page are necessary, First select the best keywords for you business, then use them title , description and H1 tag on your site(take care of KW density). Now for off page start from articles , forums and social media sites. Use keywords as anchor text, don't try to hard to get spam. just basic SEO.

    For quality traffic you must join quality and niche sites. Submit your sites in niche sites(if your site theme is education related then follow .edu sites through forums or anything else). Submit your site in proper category in directory sites or social bookmarking.

    After creating your adwords account in google, you need to create a campaign first where you can define your targeted location, language, time of ad display and some more settings.

    Then create adgroups and ad text and while entering ad text, you'll be asked to enter your website URL.
