How do I get Independent sites to Advertise on my site? Adult-related Forum?

I'm looking for a few sites that wish to advertise on my forum. It's not a porn site but I do require the members to be over 18 years old because we talk about sex-related issues on the forum. Can anyone recommend a way to get people to advertise on the forum? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you Perry Rose. I've done that but haven't had any good responses yet but I'm not gonna give up.

Couldn't you just sign up to a few affiliate programs?

Use a middle man to get these companies rather than going direct.

Sorry, Kyliemeg, but for a message board, you aren't going to get many bites. It's not their favorite. As an advertiser myself I don't even give them a second look.

Get use to it. And, yes, don't quit.

Go to big-boards.com, and start looking there. Although they have a hell of a lot more visitors than you, their advertisers might still be interested in your forum.

Not to sound like a stuck record that plays the same ol' piece of tune, but if you haven't already, try Adsense.

Also look into pay-per-click advertising agencies....

TextLinkAds, TrafficSwarm, CasaleMedia.com, FastClick, BurstMedia, FC, TribalFusion, CJ, Azoogle, CPA Empire, GlobalInteractive, AdBrite, Adengage, RealMedia, Kontera, Avnads, ValueClick, Vibrant, RealTechNetwork, Dotomi….
