How do I get google to index the right pages with the right key word?

    Hello I notice that even though I have a site map Google is indexing the wrong pages under the wrong key words. As a result its not as relevant and is not ranking properly.

    As suggested by purpletentacle, double check your sitemap.

    If it is okay, you might want to try and get a handful of links from external sites pointing to your key pages with your desired anchor-text corresponding to each page.

    Its all about the links, set the anchor text to whatever you wanna rank for.

    Just target right keywords for particular page. Google will index right keyword and page. Whatever you will provide to crawler, that will be consider. So every thing in your end.

    As you say that Google index the pages with wrong keywords...First things, it may be a problem in your sitemap or what meta tag you use in your On Page Optimization...Please give me your website URL.....
