Does it take time if its a new site?

I get ads that pay like half a penny per click

Is there an easy way to get ads that belong on my site?

Write good content that pertains to what your site is about. The ads will tailor themselves to your content. Whether the ads reflect what your content is about has nothing to do with how much they will pay, though.

depends on your niche. ads are served based on your niche and your content. high paying niche + good content = high paying ads

As google told that content is the king, just write a content for user and not for adsense so google will award you with good ads. May it help

Usually it will take some time for the crawler to really understand your site and present the most relevant ads. I happened to my sites before. In order to serve more relevant ads, try to use "section targeting" as well.
