How do I get a programme clip from a TV show to YouTube?

    Hi,

    Looking for a bit of advice here, I am wondering how people get portions of TV shows onto YouTube?

    I have a dvd recorder, do I copy the programme onto DVD and then cut the part I want from it - if so, is there any special software I need?
