How do I get a closed thread reopened?

I recently ordered a service from a fellow DigitalPoint member and he closed the thread so no one can comment on the service and I have not been able to get any response from him in a long time and would like to post within the same thread to see if anyone else is having the same trouble, the thread in question is:

Can a mod or admin please reopen the thread for comments.

 

Seems like the thread starter has been banned ... so no chance that it can be reopened

 

Does anyone know why he was banned? I have read that thread before, and it is very useful.

Try clicking the Report a Post icon and request that the thread be reopened so you can post a comment regarding a problem you experienced with the service. Since there's a live link to his site offering the service, they might consider your request.

You can also use the iTrader feedback.

 

Thanks I will try to request the thread be reopened, I do not wish to leave itrader until I give him a fair chance to respond.

 

He will not be able to respond to you. He is a banned member. It may be months before he gets his account back. Look at his name on either of his threads and it says banned right under his name.

Does he have your email adress? He may be able to read the posts even though he can't reply to you. Maybe you should post a contact here in this thread so that he can contact you.

Report the thread and the thread would be reopened..if you posted once in that thread as you arent the author.

You cant really.
Only thing you can do is a request to reopen the thread.

 

You first wire 2k or more to an offshore bank account of any of the moderators, than send that mod the receipt of the transfer and ask them for the key that opens your thread again. If you are lucky they might be able to find that particular key cause there are lots of keys in the DP's Hanger Room (do mind banned user's head hang there too ) . So mods avoid going to the Hanger Room.

Good luck in getting your thread opened again, if it was closed by mistake (yup mods sometimes get a weird disease called "slipoffinger" and its dangerous).
