    Hello,

I started my first adwords campaign today. But at the first glance i am not satisfied because the traffic is very slow.

I want to spend 100 dollars in one day and i want 5000 or so clicks. But the clicks are very low.. how can i speed it up?

You want 5000 clicks per day at $0.02 clicks each?

Good luck with that...It's possible, but very hard to do, and it can only be done with certain types of keywords

How much traffic Adwords sends depends on the keywords you're using, the ads you're using, whether or not you're using the content network, how high your bids are, etc....Getting traffic through Adwords is not the hard part (that's very easy to do). The hard part is getting the right traffic

    ok more details:

as i already rank well in search results, i want only content network sourced traffic. i saw that if i increased my daily budget then the ads would show up more often. so i increased my daily budget to 10,000 i hope it works..

Before wasting the money I would write a good informative ad, you dont just want stray clicks do you? Let them know what they are getting into before clicking. Cause a click in wont help if they dont stay...
    Good Luck

$100 per day on content - an unusual technique - I hope it works for you

I can't wait to see you get a bill for $10,000 worth of clicks in a single day.

Anyway, CPC or CPM bids are used to figure out how often you'll be displayed, as well as keywords. Increasing the budget only works if you're already hitting your maximum.

i actually now consider myself somewhat a pro in regards to adwords, but i dont think i ever got clicks as low as $0.02 DOLLARS...lowest i see (ok, i work in EURO) is $0.03 EU..or $0.04 EU

RELEVANT keywords is the key i think.

make smaller adgroups and make relevant text ads for them keywords, also helps to have a good landing page relevant to the keywords. Otherwise you will be paying over the odds per click!

    bunker: MONEY ?! :)

If you add irrelevant KW your CTR/QS on the adgroup and campaign level will fall to the bottom..every irrelvantKW will influence the group/campaign....an G will increase bids. How much you think you need to pay for a totally irrelevant keyword like "xbox repair guide" if you link to a site selling "satin underwear" :)

thats why its crucial to have as FEW KW as possible per adgroup....i mean even keywords in the plural form or with words like "of", "for" etc.. "xxxx of xxxx" "xxxx for xxxxx" would IN A PERFECT WORLD want their own adgroup and then headline "xxxxx of xxxx" instead the other form.

Say you have an adgroup "cold treatment"...so you would be tempted to shove "treatment for cold" into the SAME Adgroup...but it could give you less quality score as opposed to making an extra group for "cold treatment", "treatment of cold", "treatment for cold", "treat cold", "how to treat cold", "natural treatment for cold" etc..etc...is BIG WORK...except you can use Google Adwords editor to re-group this automatically.

And delete any KW and groups which dont perform well to keep overall quality high.

Stuffing too many KW in one group is the biggest newb-mistake...and Google will always laugh....YOU want the lowest CPC...so you need to make as many groups possible and NOT use irrelevant KW.

YES. i am a big newbie.. but look: i have a job board site. job vacancies and etc. which has thousands of different job posts for 30-40 different categories.. so my site doesnt have a very specific subject...

so i want visitors from any search term or keyword.. i made a very big keyword list 400 words or so.. all are top ranked words.. and as you might guess i cant get it work.. the clicks are very low.. what should i do? should i make many ad groups around each category? i really dont know what to do.. can you tell me?

and i also want to say that i rank well on google serps for my most important keywords.. i have a fairly good natural search engine sourced visitors. what i want to do is i want to get visitors from content network.. some one reading an article about TV shows should see my ad and decide to click it instantly..
