How do I generate more traffic?

Okay in all seriousness, I've looked through the sites for sale sections at all the traffic and their earning through adsense. How do they do it? I use entre card but that only gets people on my site for about 5 seconds. I want to really know how to get people on my site. How to really earn money with the adsense ads I have set up and how o really make the site function properly.

I have absolutely no experience with driving traffic to my site but I'm ready and willing to learn anything and everything I can about it....... I just need somebody willing to teach it.

 

Some people say that visitors from search engines generate more income through clicks than visitors that come from other pages.

I get a lot of visitors from yahoo answer, blog comments and sites like myspace.

 

How do you get yourself in the search engines though?

 

Creating backlinks to your site will get you a higher PR on google.

you need to think it from the visitor side that why he should wait at your site ?

One question I have about pr is this..... I have created my site, I submitted my site to google, what else do I have to do before I'm able to have a pr. I looked at a few sites and there's may say 0/10, but mine doesn't evens ay that. It just says no information available.
