How Do I Force a 336x280 Blanc Space Show in HTML?

    Hello everyone!
I've read here that for google adsense optimization, it is necessary to make your best ad spot appear in your HTML code as the first ad unit. The details can be found here: http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=187769
So I've followed all the steps there and did everything correctly, and now I'm trying to complete the last step: the style sheet issue. I managed to adjust the perfect ad sizes. However, since my website wp theme automatically has ad spots, the new code inserted shows in between my articles, as I later remove the original ad code from the spot it used to be. So I want to insert there some HTML code that will be just a blank space, so that the code goes up and shows right.
I hope I managed to explain my problem well. Please help me solve this issue.

    Thanks in advance

    You can make/find a transparent 1x1 pixel gif and go something like <img width="336" height = "280" src = "1x1.gif" />

    Thanks for your reply!
I managed to create the whitespace and the code displays now right on google chrome. However, on any other browser, it's a little altered still, half of it appears in between the contect text.
Besides, I saw that the new ad now appears on the home page too, and don't know how to fix this. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Make a new site and put your ad in there, if you make new sites the information will be on one site, and wont show on the others.
