How do I fix viruses on my site

    hi

my site methodsofhealing[dot]com was recently hacked and I took the following measures
    - bought a new computer with latest "Trend Micro" antivirus software.
    - Changed all my passwords to more complicated ones
    - hired a developer who found iframes on my site and removed them.

Site is running fine now, but Trends Micro as well as a trial version of Mcafee lists the site as dangerous. What do I have to do to fix this?

The software might be reading a cached version of the page/site. Clear all stored pages, try to clear out any storage if the software does that. Try that to see if it clears up. Site seems fine when I viewed it.

ive cleared all stored pages before and it just goes back to classing the site as dangerous. The site design then looks strange on my computer until I class the site as trusted in the software. But it must be classing it as dangerous for a reason right?

Not sure why you went as far as buying a new computer, but that's besides the point.

The reason you and everyone else is viewing your site as unsafe is because you need to request reviews from anyone declaring your site unsafe. For McAfee go to http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/methodsofhealing.com and register as the site's owner and request a review. Also, log into Google Webmaster Tools and see if you have a malware warning there as well that needs to be disputed.

You can run the antivirus scan first from your computer and the file which it shows infected should keep back up and delete form your computer..

I agree with Boogy, my site was doing the same thing. My dashboard was FUBARed and after doing everything under God's green earth, I simply removed all history, cleared cache, cleared cookies and BINGO. Everything was fine. Listen to Boogy him know sometin.

Why did you buy a new computer?

Why not just clean it all up? or even format?
