How do i fix these

    I have just tried to validate my first xhtml site and i am getting two errors:

    Can anyone help me fix these

    Does your page have to be XHTML 1.0 Strict? If not change it to Transitional and give it a go.
    If it has to be strict, remove

    language="JavaScript"
    and
    target="_blank"

    from the code...report back if anything breaks :)

    I want to keep it strict but if i remove target="_blank" then how will the link know to open in a new page?

    Good question, perhaps this will help.

    It talks about doing it this way
    Before:
    <a href="document.html" target="_blank">external link</a>

    After:
    <a href="document.html" rel="external">external link</a>
