    Hi.

I have heard that sitemaps is not recommended to use? I also use Google Analytics to monoter stats (is this SEO friendly).

I have Supplemental Results and some Unreachable URL's - how can I remove these using Google Sitmaps, is this something to do with Google or my website files?

    Thanks all!

Google sitemaps do not hurt you in any way. Whoever told you that sitemaps are not recommended did not know what they were talking about. If you have a bunch of supplemental results then my guess is that you may not have fully optimized your site and there may be some dead links on the site which is why you have unreachable url's.

I do not recommend that you remove the google sitemap, it can be very helpful once you fully know how to use it.

The first thing to check for is unique titles and descriptions on every page on your website... otherwise you're very likely to end up in the Supplemental Index.

There was a large discussion in the sitemap forum about sitemaps having a negative effect on your website. I personally don't see how it could be true, but a ton of people are claiming that the number of pages indexed on google goes up when they remove the sitemap. Weird.
