How do I find what page my keyword ranked on?

    Hi there,

I track results for "butterbur petasin" which currently I am #1 in msn under the domain name of http://www.naturalfigure.co.uk

Is there anyway to find out what page in the domain the keyword is ranked for?

For example when I look at my screen for "Keywords/URLs I'm Tracking" I can see the position the keyword is, the domain it was found on but not the page it was found on?

ie. is there any way to tell that the page that keyword the "butterbur petasin" is ranked on is
    www.naturalfigure.co.uk/butterbur-petasin-p-32.html
without checking it in msn itself?

    Thanks,
    Alistair

I think he means he is already tracking the keywords and wants to know what page they are on.

The simple answer is take the position and divide it by ten, since that is the default amount of listings shown per page in the search engines.

I think this is a great tool for seeing decent ranking results but I dont know how to figure out what page inside my domain the result is for?

    Help appreciated,
    Alistair

Check the Show Surrounding URLs On Manual Query in your settings and then click one of the keywords.

thanks, that does what I want and I can get the data manually now without having to buy something like web position gold. and fill in the cells in my excel worksheet to build up a history of whats going on with my keywords

Is there anyway I can make a script to obtain the values for keyword, url and rank as I want to format them in to a report.

19 I'm going to be on vacation, but I still want the historical data for those days. Isn't there *anything* I can do to automate it?
Yes there is... if you are technically inclined, you can setup an automated process on your end to make an HTTP request for the 'Check All' button in your account. If you make an HTTP request of:

Would need to roll my sleeves up but if I could make a request to do this as above and then store the values for keyword, url and rank I think I would be well on my way to what I need.

Is something like this possible? dont want to rewrite the keyword tool, just want to get at the data it outputs programatically and format an excel sheet from it.

    Thanks,
    Alistair

Have used prsearch before, find dp's keyword checker better.

Have downloaded and playing with IBP just now.

What I very much want to do is be able to write some kind of script that will get the serps, lifting them straight out of DP's results would be great if there is a way to do this using http calls (a bit over my head at the moment)

I could use my script to trigger DP's keyword tool to get the results as sugested in doing with a cron job. and then would want to export it in to excel with other info so as I can build up my own analysis with my own metrics
