I am trying to find out the "host" of a hosting company ( if that makes sense )
whats is the easiest way to do this?

so say a guy has a reseller hosting account - i want to find out the what company hes hosting it on etc or hes got a dedicated server and i want to find out what company its hostied on? and please dont say "whois"

i cannot find out as the hoster has private Ns records

    thanks

ping the domain, then find the IP and use it to see what his hostname is, or check a DNS whois and you can probably find the hostname that way too.
