Hi All, Sorry if this is in the wrong category, it seems the best fit from those provided. My question is, what is the best way to find sponsors for the Best of Morocco Blog Awards? The contest is currently running (until Feb 21). A little info: -This is the first English language contest of its kind in Morocco. -In the first week of the contest there have already been nearly 5000 visits and over 600 votes cast. -Pageviews per day are averaging 300+ Initially, I thought finding sponsors would be fairly simple since this is focused English language traffic, so I thought tour operators, airlines, and the telecom companies in Morocco would be a sure bet. The problem is that I don't live in a big Moroccan city but in a small town so I don't have access to all of the regional offices in Casablanca and Rabat and Moroccans don't typically do a lot of business online. Finding the contact emails has proved difficult since the tour operators and airlines don't provide the necessary information or if they do, the liklihood of their being fluent in English is limited (and my Arabic and French are also limited). I want to find sponsors for three reasons: 1) To get some sexy prizes for the winners 2) To get some resources for furthering the development of the site and/or having an awards ceremony 3) To give some credibility to the contest I've been beating my head against the wall and sending lots of emails that are not getting replied to and am hoping you can offer some suggestions as to how to improve my results.
