How do i find my google search site's rank for a certain keywork?

use a tool like keyword spy, sheerseo, Free monitor for Google by cleverstat (probably the best of the free tools)

 

thx i tried the cleverstat one. It is not a freeware and it checks in the top 10 results only. i tried rank check (a firefox addon) and it checks only the top ten ranked sites.
i am looking for some freeware that does the job. my site is new and its rank is far from the top 10.
is there such a software to monitor its rank evolution?

I use a tool from seoserp.com, i.e. http://www.seoserp.com/google_page_rank/1000_serp.asp. It works well for me.

 

I do it manually.. type the kw on google then press CTRL+F then type your domain to find more faster..

 

It is free, - the clue is in the name - and the top 10 is only the default setting, you can change it to check at greater depth.
