how do i find a trusted php mysql programmer

If I show a client a demo, I will put it in a folder on my company site, what is the problem with that. As long as it is a demo, not permanent, and not linked.

It better than adding it to another clients webpage

there is nothing wrong with putting a clients site in a subfolder of your main site. however every site i found by googling looked the same as that site.

i think the guy was professional but whenever i asked him to give me his company name and phone number, he ignored me. when i asked for a portfolio he became very angry saying he personally designed most sites in bergnen, norway and that his company produces the only quality sites in norway.

yet i didnt get any contact info. he only wanted my money, no check and no credit card.

it just didnt feel right to me.

 

Ok I am now 0/3 and out couple thousand dollars. Who does people's programming if everyone gets ripped off. Still hoping one job that is out there comes through but they are a month behind and no progress.

 

This is how I work

If you want a website or script

Contact me, using MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, or Skype (your choice)

We will talk about what YOU want, then I will start on the project (No money yet)

Then, when some work is done, I will ask for a deposit, to make sure you will pay, and I dont get ripped off.

Then working on the script, with the script on my website (not linked to anywhere, you will have a link to check how things are going)

I will make changes as requested, and when you and I are happy with the website / script on my server, I will expect full payment, then send you the files.

Ask yourself, Why would I spend my time, building and adjusting a script, then not send you the script when I receive the money. Thats just stupid, I spent the time building it, I want it to be used.

 

this is pretty much how the last two people said they worked. Just ask SVZ.

Digging up old thread because.......I am still looking. Although I have found a good one but he refuses to take clients when he doesn't have the time. I can applaud that.

 

go to websites like rentacoder.com or scriptlance.com , they take 5-15% from the price of the project, but it worth.
