How do I find a partner for a blog?

I have a site that has everything that I think a blogger would be looking for as a platform: PR6 with strong backlinks, syndication agreements with several major websites, Google News picks up each article published, and an agreement with an advertiser that pays about $10 CPM net per page.

However, I don't have the time or the ability to write a couple articles a day or promote the website, so I am looking for a partner who could take this solid base and turn it into something more substantial. I would be willing to pay a base salary as well as revenue sharing, but I don't know where to go to find the best person to run this blog. Any suggestions?

You are already in the right place.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people from the forum would want to be your partner;)

    1. I just had to delete a few responses here. Folks, please remember the rules: you may not respond to threads in discussion areas to promote yourself or your services. To the OP, I'll leave this open because it's a question and not a direct ad, but if it gets littered with offers, I'll have to move it to the BST area.

    2. If you want to hire a blogger, your best bet would probably be to put up an ad on http://jobs.problogger.net. The only problem would be that you might get a lot of responses to sort through.

    3. The best way to hire a writer of any variety is to search for them. The best options will have professional sites up, including portfolios. That's especially important if you're looking for a niche specialist, where you'll want to see the type of work they've done in the niche in the past. It's also a good idea if you're worried about SEO. Find bloggers whose own sites are optimized well, and you'll be off to a good start in your blogger search. You'll also be able to see how well they've been able to promote that site (since it sounds like you need them to do that for your blog as well). Another benefit of going this route is that you'll be able to easily see first-hand how they manage the community on their own blog (do they respond to comments quickly?, etc).

Without knowing the specific niche, it would be tough to recommend anyone on an individual level.

Thanks for the reply. After thinking about it some more, I realized that I really need help promoting the site more than help writing, because I already have a few people contributing to the site on a regular basis. Maybe this wasn't the best category for this question, given that most of the responses and PMs I received were people promoting their copyscape passed or ezine ready articles, instead of actual suggestions. If you think the thread should be moved, that's fine by me.

By the way, the site is about economics and finance.
