How do I find a list of high traffic search terms with low competition?

    I am launching a new site soon and I need to include keywords that get traffic, but have little competition. What tools are good for this?

    Yes i would be very interested to find out the answer for this too from a professional.

    But in my opinion...we'll just have to use a hit-and-trial method :(

    any type of keyword research tool will help. if you have some money to spend, Keyword Elite is great. Adwords Analyzer is another. Wordtracker is great, too.

    If you don't want to spend money, Good Keywords is free and works quite well. Or you can use Wordtracker's free version.

    No matter what tool you use, you need to research the keywords you choose to find out the competition/traffic levels.

    Keyword Elite is lousy. And Keyword Elite brings out the same results as Good Keywords, so they're the same thing (they use the Overture database). No keyword research tool is very accurate, but the best one in my book is Keyword Discovery.
