You would use an iframe. Look up on the iframe hTML tag although i wouldn't suggest it as not all search engines follow it.

I recently installed a phpbb3 forum into my site subdomain - and it works well now! So installing on a subdomain is the best idea!

The best way in my opinion is to have a forum theme made that is the same as the website, this way no includes or iFrames are needed.

    its funny using iframe
    double scrolling in my browser
learn about html and css, also small knowledge in php
put same header & footer on your forum also your website
    same width and same design
