How do I download and then upload the same video without losing image quality?

I've noticed that whenever I download a youtube video and then upload the same video unto my account, the image quality diminishes. Is there a way I can do this while keeping image quality the same? You're help will be really appreciated

P.S. I only download public media, generally videos allowed by the automakers themselves (I have an automotive blog).

The problem is that every time you upload a video to youtube it goes through the Youtube conversion.

nope it's not, just go ahead and googling you'll find tons of them:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=rapidleech plugmod

what you need to do is paste the youtube link to the tranload box and tick the "Transload YouTube Video as a MP4 (H264 with AAC audio)" option then press transload button

I don't understand - I transloaded the video and it was saved in my account on the website. But when I tried to upload it to youtube, it said something about requiring a php......

Can you please tell me the steps in uploading?
