Basically what I want to do is have a referral system for my site. How it will work is once you sign up yourself, you'll get a referral code to use, and then when your friends sign up (just for an email newsletter), then you get a point added to your referral score. That way whoever sends me the most people wins the prize I'll be giving out. How would I do this? Does aweber support this sort of thing, or would I have to have a separate script to do this?
Anyone? Or could someone give me an alternative idea? Perhaps I could just set up a database and do it manually?
There are scripts available online to manage referrals .You have to search manually in google to search for it , as I never used it.
That would probably be the best way... Most free scripts are garbage and full of bugs. And the ones that arent, let's just say that you only get what you pay for. In my experience, a cheapo script means a cheapo (and usually not customizable) setup.
