How do I do this?

Is there any code can I use to redirect a first time visitor to a page I want.

    For example:

Bob visits my website. I want Bob to be redirected to a page outlining important information about my website and why he should join. On the next time Bob visits, it will not redirect him to a page but instead take him directly to the site itself.

How can I do this? Can someone help me, please? :)

Yeah, you can do that with scripting and cookies, but it is a singularly Bad Idea. You will always, then, redirect search engines, and Bob, too, if he erases cookies, doesn't allow cookies or sets cookies to expire after each session.

Make your entry page inviting enough that Bob wants to learn more, and give him an inviting link to the other page.

You can do it, but I won't help you make your site worse. Give some more thought to the issue.

    cheers,
