I'm planning on creating a new site but I want to do the SEO properly the first time around. I know the title and H1 tags are important. How about H2 and below? What else can be done on-site? Next question - the one that puzzles me. I'm going to open a site where users can upload maps for games. The files/info will be stored in databases. I was hoping to use php to generate pages whenever a user accesses it. Would it be better to have a hard-version of the page on my server instead (otherwise, Google won't see the pages, right?). Or am I going about this completely the wrong way? Maybe someone who owns a store that pulls products from a database may have a good answer for me. Thanks for the help.
PM me. I'll help you out. you want to do something called siloing. If you aren't targeting highly competitive keyterms, I can help you out.
Thanks sss3d, PMed you. Still looking for help on what I'm saying. How do search engines handle dynamic pages made on-access, or is that not a good idea?
If you're starting to create a new site avoid iframe and full flash site. It's not Search Engine Friendly. Try also to optimized the content of every page. Pick good keywords to target before creating your content so that you can insert your keywords on the content.
