How do I delete my account from this forum?

Anyway, you can't delete your account. Just don't use it.

 

I don't like having accounts with my email addresses just sitting there though... I'm kinda OCD when it comes to internet accounts and it stresses me out. I just want it to be gone so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

 

Why join in the first place then?

 

Because I had a question i need answered. The account has served it's purpose, now I don't want it anymore.

 

Sorry, accounts aren't deleted. You'll just need to live with it. No-one but the site admins and the moderators can see the information anyway and trust me, they don't care enough to look.

 

edit your email address in your profile then just dont use it anymore

 

These threads could be avoided by simply allowing members to delete their own accounts.

 

So in other words let people sign up ask a question, delete the account and then sign up again in two months and delete the account? Seems a little pointless to me. If your worried about your email add. simply create one that has a fake name and information and use that for these purposes. Secondly being able to delete accounts would cause to much chaos. Especially with those that have poor feeback. They would delete the account and start over again.
