I want to create a site, lets say about all grocery stores in various cities in US. So a user can go to his state/province and select his city and that brings up pages of grocery store listngs. But I want other surfers to have the ability to post general comments towards bottom of that page (mainly for SEO purpose) Also I would like to have uniform design of site, meaning same layout, ads etc on all pages. Do I need to do this in php? or need some script? or is there a free template available anywhere? Pls help. thanks in advance
To do that, you would definitely need a script. Since you will be using a script, I would assume you would need to find yourself a script first and then modify/find a template for that script.

phpmydirectory will do what you want. It's a nice script with lots of features and a great support forum.
