    Please specifiy what is ecover means and what it will be used for.There are lots of premade template which you can download and work on GIMP.Just try Google.

    I found GIMP and templates etc to tricky and time-consuming for me. I now use ecover creator - it's great and has a wide range of templates for ebooks, eCovers, manuals, cd and DVD cases etc in 3D with shadow. It was really cheap and I got it from howtomakeanebookcover and no need for photoshop, scripts etc!
