Hello fellow DigitalPoint members. I know what backlinks are and that their purpose is to increase my page rank. The only part that I'm unsure about is how I create them and what the best sites are for creating them. Could any of you guys help me out on understanding this?
You could post your sites keyword text into my blog's comments. We keep the dofollow enabled for those that comment with good content on our posts.
As mentioned above blog posting is a good way, as is 3 way link exchanges.some quality high PR directories may give you a little link juice too.
do a google search on your topic, quickly jot down the top blogs on the first page of google and then see if I can post comments on the blogs. Forum posting. Yahoo answers by answering questions with articles from ezine articles and have a link back to my blog. Not money site. more... But too much work.

There are various ways to build backlinks. I personally think the fastest way to do that is through forum posting. You can also do blog commenting, link exchange and article submission.
one of a good source of backlinks are social bookmarking, social networking, blogs and forums like this.
DP is a dofollow forum and writing more posts means you will get more dofollow backlinks from your signature (hyperlinked keywords).
