Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I didn't see any sections that suited it.. Basically I need to set it up so people either enter their e-mail addresses somewhere on the site or email a certain address, then they are automatically sent a form letter which i have written, and their email is added to a list. I also need a program to mass-mail everybody on the list. I've seen a lot of websites that have newsletters like this so I'm assuming it's not a very difficult problem to solve.. I'm willing to spend a little if there's a cheap program I should get for this.
you will need a newsletter script installed on your site. It can be astand alone script like phplist or maybe part of any cms like joomla (they have additional extension for sending newsletter) or alternatively you can use external newsletter service like mailchimp.com
