How do i create an API????..there r many options!!

    Hi everyone...

    i was trying to register for the keywordtracking tool...adn had to get the google API...

    what is an API anyways, and where do I get it from...

    I followed the link that directs me to the API page (I just logged in with my gmail account..or do i have to create a new gmail account/???)

    there are many API's:
    - google Maps API
    - googel AJAX search API
    - google AJAx feed API..

    etc..

    WHAT to do next??? What to choose..how??

    Can anyone help!..Thanks in advance!

    None of those are the right API. The keyword tracker requires a SOAP API key which Google discontinued. (At the time it was their only API key so that's it can be confusing.)

    So, that sucks..that means I can't use the Keyword tracker without the SOAP Google API Key? What's the next best option available?
