How do i create a no follow link?

    How do i create a no follow link within a ancnchor text type link?
    Whilst i am on the subject how do i create a follow through link?

    Hope this is not a dumb question.

    I'm not sure your question but you can add a rel="nofollow" in a href?

    @vwd, exactly as crivion says. You asked also for a follow through link. This is, if the link as no rel="nofollow". so you get the set:

    follow: <a href="url">anchor</a> (link juice is flowing)
    nofollow: <a href="url" rel="nofollow">anchor</a> (gives no link juice)

    if you have too many no follow links on your website, google will consider your site as spam and drop the ranking,

    be free with you link love and do not worry about passing on PR, you will do much better in the SERP's

    rel="external" tells the spiders this link is not belongs to the blog/site. So spiders will treat it as less valuable one.

    rel="nofollow" directly tells the spiders to not follow the link.:)

    The reason i want to know is because i here links that are sold will be penalised, and am thinking of selling a few links but dont want to get penalised or banned from google.

    Is my method of thinking correct or wrong?
