How do I create a error not found page and how do I change the url text of my homepage?

I want to make the url just http://thethoughttreasury.com/

I also want a custom 401 error not found page. How do I do these two actions?

 

First You need to buy domain if available. Currently you're using subdomain if host56.com

 

But, cant I use PHP to dynamically change the url, like add and remove prefix, suffixes?

Transfer all your content to new site and than redirect your old one.
It is not poosible to remove .host56.com without purchasing your own domain.

But as its a free domain, I can't guarantee its reliability. A domain bought is and always will be better than a free one.
