Actually, it's probably more the google Analytics team. I posted this message at http://adsense.blogspot.com/2009/06/speeding-up-basics-and-analytics.html , a recent blogpost from adsense touting how great Analytics and Adsense work together. THAT IS COMPLETE BS. Here is my response to that blogpost. In my view, Analytics and Adsense should be tied together, using the same database and data? Well from what I can tell it is not, or there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with their programming. I'm so irritated right now! I had some AMAZINGLY HIGH PAYING CLICKS YESTERDAY and I would like to know exactly where they came from. I don't think I should have to create thousands of channels to record this, that is what Analytics is supposed to tell you.
Sorry to hear of your trouble. Their email address is . But don't expect an immediate response - sometimes it takes a month!
Thanks. I guess I could have dug into it more and found their address. but I had steam venting out out of every orifice of mine this morning. Thanks for the address, I will send this response to them and wait... Like I have been for 7 months now!
I feel your pain. I don't think that my AdSense data has ever shown up correctly in Analytics. It's a real shame, because it would be a sweet feature if it worked properly...
While some of the data is in fact useful like knowing which page an ad is clicked from, until they ramp up their filters and tell you which ads were actually clicked on your still better off with a tracking script. There are some new features for advertisers to select sites they want to advertise on and some coming for publishers... so I'd expect this to get better... but probably just for the higher end players and not the average webmasters.
