How Do I Construct A Webpage That Charges You For A Download?

    Hello,

    I was wondering if anybody knows how to make a webpage that you pay by credit card for a download. I already know how to do the credit card part because HostGator provides a service for that, or I can use PayPal but how do I construct a webpage that you are paying to download something. Because, I don't want it to be poorly constructed and then someone can just find the link on which the download is done. If anyone can help me, that would be great.

    What language are you programming in? One possible solution is to have a database directory of links (several) to your downloads, then as each link is used by a purchaser, remove the link from the DB AND delete the contents of the directory. That way if the link is shared, it won't exist.
    All of what I described is easily done using ASP/PHP/etc.
