Hey Everyone, I'm Admin Over @ MyAnimeLinks.com, I am trying to compete with AnimeFreak.TV which gets around 100,000+ Unique/day or more. Now What I need to know is where I can get some good anime backlinks, does anyone have websites with high PR that I can post a link on? Thanks so much everyone.

Unfortunately this is the sort of thing you have to do for yourself. Most people are more than willing to hand out of a list of social bookmarking sites or the likes, but niche specific sites that you can get links from, especially high PR sites, are a more guarded secret. I recommend you go to Google, click on "Blogs", and do a search for some anime related things, then comment on the blogs (read their articles and leave good comments). Blog comments don't hold the weight they used to, but it's a very simple way to get some backlinks within your niche.

Try and ninja an advertising spot with that top website.

If you can't beat them, join them. :)

In all seriousness, just pick a good keyword you think you can compete in, then find other sites like your own, to either purchase spots on there or to even trade links is a good way of getting up in the rankings.

Be honest with you it's just going to take good old seo, and people are not going to link to you just because..you will have to do something of value to get them linking to you...and this can take months if not years to complete..

Anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it,over time if you keep promoting it you will start to get the visitors,i am not sure how long the other site has been online but i guess it must have been some time as the figures that precious007 has provided are very good.

To beat your competitors is not one day task. Search all the reasons of their superiority and then compare with your site. Other issue, your site age is also an important factor. If it is new, wait a little to chalange
