    You can use 'Report Post' button for that.

    DP don't give you option to close thread by yourself.. Just leave ti like that if you don't like it, or you can Report it, but you already got what you want, so no need for anything else..

    you can do alternate method, go to the thread and simply reply "thread has been closed"
    so viewer can easily understand that this thread has been closed

    but this an alternate method not a technical method
