I saw some where on this forum that, if you see your site in search results, even on the last page, then your site is not in sand box.

Well, actually it's different. Don't forget Sand Box is just a theory, and not every expert share the same opinion, it may exist, or may not exist. It's a theory.

Searching google for your site, will simply show if your site is indexed or not. If it's 1 day since you posted it on the net, it's rather just un-indexed and not sandboxed. Give them some time.

Remember the sanbox effect/link ageing effect is phrase based. So you can be sandboxed for one phrase, but not another (usually the more generic or commercial the phrase, the stronger the chance of sandboxing effect).

Easiest way to tell is to do intitle, inanchor, and intext searches.

If your ranking for yourkeyword when you search for
    intitle:yourkeyword
    inanchor:yourkeyword
    intext:yourkeyword

but you're NOT ranking for a standard search on yourkeyword,

    then your sandboxed.

Yes, those advanced queries are very very consistent with the top results in the SERPS. Look at the SERPS for any keyword phrase, and note the top 10 results. Now do the same keyword search using

    inanchor:
    intitle:

    etc,

and you'll see the top 10 in those SERPS are very very similar to the default top 10 SERPs .

This illustrates what we already know about how to rank on Google -
keyword in page TITLE, keyword in anchor text from inbound links, etc

Now if you are ranking well under these conditions, but you're nowhere on the default search, then Google
is deliberatley holding your site back from ranking - welcome to the sandbox or link ageing filter.

site:yourdomain.com gives you all your pages in the google index.
site:/yourdomain.com gives you all your pages that are not in the google sandbox.

Seems to work perfectly for my sites

The sandbox effect is phrase based. It has nothing do do with indexing. You can have 100% of your pages fully indexed, but still be sandboxed - for a certain keyword or keywords.
