How do I check real PR?

I found a domain for sale, I know it has fake PR, but how do I check what it's real PR is?

That might not be true.

It has a fake PR of PR4 but the real PR could be PR2 or something.

 

Also true but if somebody redirects the url that smells fishy and is not recommended to buy.

Mostly ppl with domains of PR0 do this to sell it better... not usual for PR2 domains to be redirected as he profits much more when selling PR0 being redirected

 

Very unlikely that a fake PR will still retain some PR. It most circumstances the fake PR would be readjusted to PR0.
