How Do I Change To The New Smf Version Of My Forum???

    Whenever i log into my forum control/admin panel, i get a short message: "You're using an outdated version of SMF, which contains some bugs which have since been fixed. It is recommended that you update your forum to the latest version as soon as possible. It only takes a minute!"

    How do i change/switch to the new SMF version without losing my templates, members and their profile or information?

    I am afraid that i may end up deleting all my old files and it will affect the whole forum.

    there is an upgrade link in the admin panel to bring you up to 1.1.6. you won't lose anything.

    i wouldn't go for 2.0 until its a stable release.
