How do I change link colors in Joomla?

I am using the Joomla CMS for this site: http://www.street-fights.org

I want to make the links on the left menu area black.

I have seen the edit CSS option and edit html under the admin area but I dont know exactly what to edit or change.

Any tutorials for this??

you should just look for a general css tutorial, there's nothing special about Joomla CSS
